This trip has been designed to give those who are struggling with the loss of a loved one, a peaceful, tranquil and supportive environment in which to explore their feelings.

We spend our time in national parks and other untouched areas, camping by the riverside, exploring valleys and lakes, and walking through our stunning natural surroundings. There will be plenty of time for reflection and contemplation.

We will also spend some time with a local Mongolian shaman who will perform a traditional ceremony just for us at our campsite.

The DSH team will hold (optional) group and one-on-one sessions throughout the trip. These activities are designed to help participants begin the acceptance and healing process associated with their grief and assist them to find the motivation to start looking forward again.

This unique trip takes us to some truly spectacular parts of Mongolia.

We fully immerse ourselves in the magic of Mongolia, exploring Uran Uul Volcano, the Hanui River and Dulaan Haan Mountain. But the highlight of this trip has to be our visit to the natural springs that are believed by locals to have significant healing abilities.

We will also have the chance to meet with a local family, see a 3,000 year old petroglyph and spend time at the beautiful Amarbayasgalant Monastery.
