Stress Management Group Trip - India
APRIL 15 - 26, 2019
Long term elevated stress levels can leave us with a myriad of health problems as well as negatively impact our family life, work life and overall happiness. Highly stressful situations can cause unnecessary strain on the relationships we have with those closest to us, reduce our productivity, disrupt our sleep and eating habits, and make us irritable and in a constant state of upset.
The focus of this trip is for participants to disconnect from their every day life and reconnect with themselves for 12 days. Morning yoga and meditation sessions ensure we start the day off the right way, our freshly prepared Sattvik food provides healthy nourishment for our bodies, and the sessions run by the DSH team give the participants the chance to realise the importance of keeping their stress levels in check, as well as giving them the opportunity to learn how to manage stress for the long term.
Nestled amongst the lush greenery and stunning mountains of the western ghats outside of Kerala, the location of our India trips is truly awe inspiring. An area steeped in culture, history and nature, this is the perfect place to disconnect and focus on you.
Our trips to India include daily meditation and yoga sessions and an array of organic Sattvik meals, prepared fresh. Our mental health and general health workshops take place in the beautiful grounds of our accommodation, and we will get the chance to explore several of the beautiful local areas during our day trips. Ayurvedic treatments are available, and participants will have the chance to take part in cooking demonstrations, showcasing the art of Sattvik cooking.
This location is an all-round rejuvenating place. From the quiet calmness of our surroundings to the nourishing food and healthy lifestyle, you cannot help but leave this place feeling relaxed, recharged and ready to take on the world.
